The wait for Assassin's Creed 3 is almost over. With it set to release on October 30th, fans will gather around at various retailers, tonight at midnight, for an early chance to snag their copy.And with all of the trailers, sound bites, and news reports we've had over the past few months, the game's release can't come soon enough.

But before we actually get to play the game, Ubisoft has released a new launch trailer, revealing even more of Connor's backstory and showing more brutal gameplay footage. Sure, we've already had tons of trailers showing these things off, but Ubisoft felt that the game needs even more hype than it already has.

We already know this is likely the last we'll see of Desmond Miles; we already know why Connor decides to become an assassin; and we already know there's a 95% chance we'll get a new Assassin's Creed installment next year. So let's hope we can all make it through the rest of today spoiler-free. I'm pretty sure if we get any more trailers for Assassin's Creed 3, I'll have watched the entire game.
