NewsAfter a month's wait, here's part 2 of the Guardians of Middle-earth MOBA pro feedback
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released the second part of the behind the documentary which featured pro MOBA players playtesting the upcoming console MOBA game Guardians of Middle-earth.
When we left off last month, the 8 professional gamers spent the day playing the game and providing feedback to the developers at Monolith Productions. Rather than going out to dinner with the gamers, the developers stayed back at the studio to apply many of the changes the pros had suggested, clearly demonstrating their dedication to creating a fun and balanced game.
Today's video shows another playthrough with the pros, but this time with the changes from feedback in place. Some of the changes include increasing the respawn timer, making the NPC soldier stronger, and lowering the capture time of various points around the map.
How do the pros feel about the changes? You'll have to watch the video to find out. When I played Guardians of Middle-earth at E3 earlier this year I was definitely surprised at how well they were able to create a MOBA experience on the consoles. I did, however, notice a few particular things that hopefully the pros caught (they probably did). Guardians of Middle-earth is set to release on Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network in fall 2012.
