Runic president and Torchlight 2 designer Travis Baldree said it best: "I don't think there's much else I could say that would interest you right now."

That's because Torchlight 2 fans only care about one thing right now and that's the release of Torchlight 2 which, as of today, is now officially Thursday, September 20, 2012.

Travis, which made the announcement via the Runic Games forums, promised a "more official and bigger announcement" would be made today. Regardless of how the announcement came, at least it was made. Now we finally have a date to look forward too.

It's been a rough journey to get to this date. After being delayed until July, Runic has continually pushed back the release date of Torchlight 2, mostly due to the massiveness of the game. Alas, the date is almost here — just a mere three weeks away.
