Developer Turbine has released the first screenshots (viewable right) for The Lord of the Rings Online's next content update.

Update 7 ("Shades of the Past") revamps the Fornost and Moria regions and introduces a new skirmish, called "Storm on Methedras." Players will journey to the southern end of the Misty Mountains, taking up arms with the Rangers to battle the sorceress Gwyllion, ally of Saruman.

The free-to-VIPs skirmish supports groups of 1-12 players between levels 20-75, with two difficulty tiers available.
